It's been a tough old week for Sunderland fans. Seeing Newcastle batter PSG 4-1 on Wednesday night would've been hard enough, but they've just been hammered by local rivals Middlesbrough on Saturday lunchtime.
Boro left with a 4-0 win after running riot in the second half, where they scored all of their goals against a 10-man Sunderland who completely collapsed.
Just minutes after Middlesbrough took the lead, Matt Crooks rubbed salt in the wounds after making it 2-0, reeling away doing the Alan Shearer celebration in front of home fans at the Stadium of Light.

Personally, I'd like to see them get promoted. Some would gladly see them rot in the EFL, but I for one would love to see us hand them a overdue spanking at St James' Park!
