BBC pundit predicts Newcastle revenge and reveals surprise stat ahead of Crystal Palace clash

In his weekly piece for the BBC, Chris Sutton has shared his thoughts and predictions ahead of tomorrow's clash between Newcastle and Crystal Palace.

He reveals that all THREE of our meetings last season ended 0-0, with both Premier League games and our Carabao Cup match up ending goalless. However, he's backing Howe to get, one over Hodgson in a 2-0 win on Tyneside.

This would be a small dose of revenge if we can take all three points, as Sutton rightly highlights how we were 'robbed' of the win in this fixture last season, where VAR chalked off Tyrick Mitchell's own-goal. Joe Willock was penalised, but only made contact with the Palace goalkeeper after being pushed himself.

Sutton believes we're 'playing well' and will 'find a way to win', even if the Eagles would gladly settle for a fourth-straight 0-0. Here's what he told BBC Sport:

These two teams met three times last season and didn't score once between them - although VAR did rob Newcastle of a perfectly good goal in the league game at St James' Park.

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson would probably be happy with another stalemate this time too, but Newcastle have been playing well and I think they will find a way to win.
