Newcastle facing another midfield ban if £40m man steps out of line on Saturday

Anthony Gordon may be back from suspension, but Bruno Guimaraes will be the latest Newcastle star facing a one-game ban if he's booked against Crystal Palace today.

The Brazilian has picked up bookings against Aston Villa, Man City and Brentford this season and was lucky to avoid a second yellow in our 2-2 draw at West Ham.

Premier League rules state that any player who picks up five cautions in our first 19 league games will be suspended for one match, leaving Bruno walking a tightrope in each of our next 11 games.

With Sandro Tonali facing a 12 month ban that could come into action next week, we may be without both in one of our upcoming league games.

Should the Brazilian go into the book this weekend, he'll miss our trip to Wolves next weekend. After that, we face league games against Arsenal (4th November) and Bournemouth (18th November) before the next international break.
