The team sheets are in ahead of tonight's 5.30pn kick-off at St James' Park, where Eddie Howe's Mags take on Mikel Arteta's Arsenal.

STARTING XI: Pope - Trippier, Schar, Lascelles, Burn - Longstaff, Bruno, Joelinton - Almiron, Wilson, Gordon.

SUBS: Dubravka, Dummett, Ritchie, Krafth, Hall, Livramento, Murphy, Willock, L.Miley.

As expected, a host of players rested in our midweek win at Man Utd have come back into the side, with Pope, Trippier, Lascelles, Schar, Burn, Bruno, Almiron and Wilson all starting.

Jacob Murphy is back on the bench after recovering from a shoulder injury, with Lewis Miley also in the squad after missing a few weeks with glandular fever. Elsewhere, Alexander Isak (groin), Elliot Anderson (back), Sven Botman (knee), Sandro Tonali (suspension), Harvey Barnes (foot), Javier Manquillo (groin) and Matt Targett (hamstring) miss out, as expected.

For Arenal, Martin Odegaard missed out once again, but Saka, Martinelli and Gabriel all return after rests in midweek.
