Almiron's agent responds to Saudi rumours and Fabrizio Romano issues Wilson update
Earlier today, a Ben Jacob 'exclusive' claimed that Newcastle and Al-Shabab had ‘reached a provisional agreement’ over the sale of Miguel Almiron.
However, The Chronicle have now issued an update from the player's agent Daniel Campos, stating he has 'privately downplayed' talk of his client leaving for the Saudi Pro League side this month.
It's believed Newcastle have offered no comments on reports linking him with a late move to the Middle East, while local journalists such as The Times' Martin Hardy and The Telegraph's Luke Edwards have played down claims of an agreement.
Then to Callum Wilson, who was linked with a permanent move to AC Milan by The Mail's Craig Hope just a few hours ago.
Fabrizio Romano insists the 31-year-ol will not be joining the Serie A giants this month, as Milan are prioritising different positions and are happy with their current pool of strikers, while Atletico Madrid are targeting Moise Kean instead.
