Toon chiefs fear £60m target will join Man Utd over Newcastle this summer - Reports
According to reports, Newcastle United fear summer target Michael Olise has his heart set on a move to Manchester United.
Jacque Talbot at FootballTransfers claims the Crystal Palace winger is a top target for Eddie Howe, but it's thought he would snub a move to St James' Park in favour of Old Trafford, with the 22-year-old being a boyhood Man Utd fan.
The Telegraph's Luke Edwards has similar information on Olise, revealing that Jarrod Bowen is currently under serious consideration as Toon chiefs fear the Eagles star is likely to end up in Manchester following INEOS' long-term interest.
He'd be an incredible signing for the club, especially if his release clause is just shy of the £60m reported, but the club may be wise to reluctantly look elsewhere if he doesn't fancy a move to the North-East.
Wolves' Pedro Neto has also been linked, Bilbao's Nico Williams is another name we've been watching and there's been plenty of calls for us to pursue Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, who we wrote about in a piece earlier this week.
