Newcastle release epic advert for 2024/25 Adidas shirt - Watch here!
Newcastle United have released a stunning advert ahead of the release of our new Adidas home shirt, set to become available in-store at St James' Park and online at 8am tomorrow.
The 99-second video is narrated by Alan Shearer and features a unique version of the Blaydon Races, along with Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall donning the new training gear. As you can see below, the clip also features Sir Bobby Robson, first-team players like Alexander Isak, Joelinton, Bruno Guimaraes, Dan Burn, several members of the Women's squad and Shola Ameobi. Adidas' return sees our spell with Castore come to an end, with the return of the German sportswear giants expected to earn Newcastle around £40 million per-season to manufacture and supply our kits for the next five years.
Speaking about the Adidas deal last year, Eddie Howe said: “It brings back memories and positive memories for the supporter base. When you have positive connotations with things from the past, it breeds excitement for the future. You want positivity at all the times and you want fans to feel aligned with decisions made at the football club. This a really positive step.“
