Confirmed Newcastle v Liverpool teams – Isak starts and Slot makes changes

The team sheets are in at St James' Park, where Newcastle United host Liverpool in the 7.30pm kick-off live on Amazon Prime.
Here's the side Eddie Howe has gone with for tonight's game against the Reds:
Newcastle XI: Pope, Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Murphy, Gordon, Isak
SUBS: Dubravka, Wilson, Barnes, Targett, Osula, Almiron, Kelly, Willock, Longstaff.
Liverpool XI: Kelleher, Quansah, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Jones, Salah, Nunez, Gakpo.
SUBS: Jaros, Endo, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Elliott, Nallo, Alexander-Arnold, Morton, Nyoni.
As expected, Alexander Isak has shaken off a hip issue and is in from the start, but Howe has made a change, bringing Jacob Murphy in for Joe Willock. Kieran Trippier misses out entirely.
For Liverpool, Ibrahima Konate's absence means another start for Joe Gomez at centre-back, but Trent Alexander-Arnold is on the bench, seeing Jarell Quansah come in.
Luis Diaz also drops to the bench, meaning Darwin Nunez comes in up top for the Reds.
A huge game and possibly our biggest test of the season given Liverpool's form, with the Reds winning 15 and drawing one of their last 16 matches in all competitions.
