A message for Newcastle fans wanting cup final tickets - Wor Flags issue joint statement

Newcastle United have been allocated 31,939 Carabao Cup Final tickets for the West End of Wembley ahead of next month's showdown against Liverpool.

The process for purchasing tickets was confirmed yesterday, with a club statement detailing how to buy, priority pots from one to six and pricing.

As ever, this has sparked plenty of talk on social media as the first wave of tickets go on sale tomorrow, with supporter groups also merging to discuss a potential standing section for fans heading to Wembley.

Wor Flags issue joint statement

At times, the atmosphere on the black and white side of Wembley two years ago was surprisingly flat as Man Utd secured a 2-0 win over Eddie Howe's Mags.

Wor Flags hope to change that and have offered a potential solution to those who are 'willing to stand and create an atmosphere throughout the entire game.'

They accept that fans can't be told 'what to do' or 'where to sit', they've suggested that supporters happy to stand and sing all game aim for Blocks 127-140 when purchasing their tickets.

In a joint statement on X alongside fellow supporter groups such as the NUST and True Faith, Wor Flags said:

"With the release of cup final ticketing allocations, supporters groups have been discussing the frustrations amongst many about the atmosphere in our end the last time out at Wembley. In March, we want to ensure that we create an electric atmosphere in the stands.
