5 of Newcastle's next 6 games selected for TV and new date set for Crystal Palace clash

To say the next month looks massive for Newcastle United would be an understatement.

Four tricky Premier League games, three of which are away from home, a chance to make the FA Cup quarter-finals if we can beat Brighton in the fifth round and, last but certainly not least, the Carabao Cup Final against Liverpool.

We finally have confirmation of the kick-off time at Wembley (4.30pm on Sunday 16th March) and details have also emerged on our televised clash with Brighton, with our home clash with Crystal Palace - initially scheduled for the cup final weekend - given a new date.

Newcastle's next six and Crystal Palace date

Following the latest announcements on dates, times and TV selections, here are all the details heading into a huge few weeks:

Saturday 15th February – Man City v Newcastle  (3pm) - Not on TV (Premier League)

Sunday 23rd February – Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest (2pm) - Sky Sports (Premier League)

Wednesday 26th February – Liverpool v Newcastle (8.15pm) - TNT Sports (Premier League)

Sunday 2nd March –  Newcastle v Brighton (1.45pm) -  ITV1 (FA Cup Fifth Round)

Monday 10th March – West Ham v Newcastle (8pm) Sky Sports (Premier League)

Saturday 16th March – Newcastle v Liverpool (4.30pm) – Sky Sports (Carabao Cup Final)

As for the Crystal Palace game, our home clash with the Eagles will now take place on Wednesday 16th April (7.30pm), falling in between our home clash with Man Utd (12th April) and trip to Aston Villa (19th April).

Two Mags set to return soon?

They have both been ruled out of our trip to Man City this weekend, but Eddie Howe is hopeful that Joelinton and Harvey Barnes would be back soon.

Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Howe revealed that Joelinton is making "good progress" after a knee injury in our 2-1 defeat to Fulham saw him miss out last two against Arsenal and Birmingham.

Barnes hasn't featured since the first half of our 3-1 win over Bromley in the FA Cup last month, but the boss believes he will "soon be in contention" to return from a thigh issue.
