Newcastle announce new commercial deal with major partners

Growing commercial revenue streams is absolutely key if Newcastle United are to gradually close the financial gap between us and the current 'big six.'

We are growing nicely in that sense, combining new partnerships with Monster, Red Bull and Guinness alongside deals with PIF-related brands like Noon, Sela and Saudia.

More needs to be done, and we should see major moves progress in 2026 regarding the training ground and stadium, but today there has been another new commercial deal secured.

Newcastle United have announced a partnership with Visa, the world's leading company in digital payments.

A club statement offers more detail on the partnership and the opportunities it will offer in the Middle East, stating: 'The collaboration will deliver unforgettable experiences and unique opportunities for fans, starting with exclusive activations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

'Over the coming season, Visa customers in Saudi Arabia will have the chance to win money-can’t-buy experiences – including VIP matchdays at St. James’ Park, meet-and-greets with Newcastle United players and legends, behind-the-scenes access, official club merchandise, and more.

'The partnership reflects the rapid growth of Newcastle United’s international fanbase, particularly across the Middle East. Support for the Magpies in Saudi Arabia has grown by double digits year on year, underlining both the global reach of the club and the region’s deep passion for football.'

Newcastle's Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Silverstone has also commented on the deal, saying:

“We are delighted to partner with Visa to bring extraordinary experiences to our growing global fanbase, beginning in Saudi Arabia.

"The Middle East is a key market for Newcastle United, with digital engagement increasing by more than 20% annually for the past two years.

"This partnership demonstrates our commitment to engaging supporters worldwide, while Visa’s expertise in delivering exceptional consumer experiences ensures we can reward our fans’ incredible loyalty.”
