Official injury update on Bruno, Miley, Joelinton & Livramento - Eddie Howe quotes

Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media today, discussing all things Newcastle United ahead of our FA Cup trip to Aston Villa tomorrow night.

Speaking to the media on Friday morning, Howe provided updates on injuries, discussing Bruno Guimaraes, Lewis Miley, Joelinton and Tino Livramento.

The boss reveals that the club are still awaiting news on Bruno's hamstring injury, although he is almost certain to miss tomorrow's game at Villa Park.

Miley is a "day by day" case, as he's dealing with a dead leg after a "bad knock to his thigh". It's a "wait and see" on the 19-year-old, but he's also expected to miss out tomorrow.

Joelinton is nearing a return and should be back quickly, even if the Villa clash comes just too soon, while Tino Livramento is on track to return next month after being back running on the grass to build up his fitness. See all of Howe's quotes below.

Howe on Bruno Guimaraes

Howe on Lewis Miley:
