Bruno Guimaraes reflects on joining the 150 club at Newcastle United
Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes made his 150th Premier League appearance for the Magpies on Saturday.
As the Magpies beat the Seagulls at St James' Park on Saturday, Newcastle's Brazilian captain reached another milestone in the black and white.
After missing 10 weeks through injury, it has taken a little longer than he'd likely anticipated, but at least his latest landmark was met with a much-needed win.
It's not often Newcastle gets the better of Brighton in the Premier League, so that must have made it extra special for Bruno.

The 28-year-old acknowledged his latest achievement on Instagram on Saturday, while thanking the fans for their support.
"I’m very happy to be reaching 150 in the Premier League with a great win and an assist!
"Time goes by so fast, and we have to make the most of every minute. Thanks for today’s support, Geordies! Great team effort and 3 very important points!"

We rely far too much on one man
Bruno Guimaraes provided the inch-perfect corner, which was met by the head of Dan Burn to power the ball home for Newcastle's second in their 3-1 win over Brighton.
It's actually insane just how much better Newcastle look with Bruno in the team. He just seems to bring everyone on the pitch up a level. At least for 45 minutes, because that's all they're allowed to play well for this season.
Given just how important Bruno Guimaraes is, we hope this milestone isn't the last one he'll hit on Tyneside and that there are many more to come.
