Newcastle fans get chance to quiz Matthias Jaissle in live Q&A

Matthias Jaissle will take questions from Newcastle supporters tomorrow evening in an online Q&A, offering a chance to hear something a little different from the usual press conferences.

An email sent to Mags Members confirms that “An Evening with Matthias Jaissle” takes place on Wednesday 30 September at 6.15pm BST, with fans invited to submit their questions beforehand.

Hopefully, a few interesting ones make it through. The press conferences serve their purpose of course, but the next fixture and latest injury news inevitably take up much of the conversation.

An evening with supporters gives Jaissle a bit more room to talk about his ideas, his experiences and life at Newcastle. It should also give fans the chance to raise things that don’t make it onto the press pack’s agenda.

Of course, the questions are being submitted in advance, so we’ll have to see which ones are chosen. But there’s an opportunity here for an interesting discussion, and hopefully we come away knowing a little more about the man in charge.
