Schär and Osula start - Confirmed Newcastle team news vs Crystal Palace
Newcastle United boss Matthias Jaissle has made FIVE changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s trip to Crystal Palace, with Fabian Schär and Dan Burn both coming into the side.
We'll be looking to bounce back from successive defeats against Coventry City and Aston Villa, with Jaissle making some big calls as he looks to turn our recent form around in today's 2pm kick off at Selhurst Park.
Five changes as Jaissle mixes it up
Newcastle United XI: Hornicek; Dedic, Schär, Burn (c), Hall; Gonzalez, Joelinton; Murphy, Willock, Barnes; Osula.
Subs: Pope, Botman, Bamba, Wissa, Thiaw, Steur, Touré, Elanga, Ramsey.
Newcastle’s confirmed starting XI sees Lukas Hornicek continue in goal, with Amar Dedic, Fabian Schär, Dan Burn and Lewis Hall making up the back four.
Burn captains the side, while Sven Botman and Malick Thiaw both drop to the bench despite starting in recent weeks.
Nico Gonzalez and Joelinton continue in central midfield, meaning no start for Sean Steur, with Jacob Murphy, Joe Willock and Harvey Barnes supporting Will Osula in attack.

Lewis Miley and Matias Fernandez-Pardo are both absent from the matchday squad altogether, however, with MFP battling illness all week.
