Woltemade starts, Burn returns - Confirmed Newcastle and Fulham team news
The final game of the 2025/26 season is here, as Newcastle United travel to Fulham in today's 4pm kick-off.
It's been a tough old season, featuring more lows than highs, sadly, but a win today would make it 10 points from a possible 12, and might just see us sneak above Sunderland if they fail to beat Chelsea at the Stadium of Light.
Here's how the two sides line up at Craven Cottage
Confirmed line-ups
Newcastle XI: Pope - Hall, Thiaw, Botman, Burn - Tonali, Bruno - Murphy, Woltemade, Ramsey - Osula.
Subs: Ramsdale, Trippier, Wissa, Gordon, Barnes, Elanga, Willock, A. Murphy, Neave.
Fulham XI: Leno - Castagne, Diop, Bassey, Robinson - Berge, Iwobi - Bobb, Smith Rowe, Kevin - Muniz
Howe has made TWO changes from last Sunday's 3-1 win over West Ham, as Dan Burn and Jacob Murphy replace Kieran Trippier and Harvey Barnes.
Anthony Gordon is on the bench once again, while Sandro Tonali has passed a fitness test to start once again, despite limping off last weekend.
As expected, Lewis Miley remains out, with Joelinton, Fabian Schar and Emil Krafth all absent, along with World Cup-bound Tino Livramento.
For Fulham, captain Joachim Andersen remains suspended, while top scorer Harry Wilson is on the bench.
Goodbye, Tripps
Today marks Kieran Trippier's final game for Newcastle United, and what a servant he has been.
He believed when others didn't, helped us stay up, was outstanding in that 4th-place finish, lifted a trophy at Wembley and was part of two Champions League campaigns.
Go well, Tripps: a Leader and legend who leaves some legacy behind.
Howay the lads!
