Earlier today, photos emerged of new signing Vakhtang Salia getting tour of the club's training ground as he prepares to join from Georgian giants Dinamo Tiblisi later this year.
He'll officially arrive in August after his 18th birthday, but he's spent the past week meeting Toon boss Eddie Howe and sporting director Paul Mitchell; who pushed to recruit the winger after fending off interest from a host of "top clubs."
Salia may spent next season out on loan, becoming the latest overseas gem to arrive after previous moves for Gambia's Yankuba Minteh and Serbian talent Miodrag Pivas.
After being pictured on Tyneside, the Georgian has sat down with the club's official media team to discuss his "dream move" to Newcastle, his first visit to the club and the challenges ahead:
Speaking to NUFC TV about the move, he said: "The first time I heard it [Newcastle were interested] I could not believe it. It was big news for me.
"I have been to (visit) the first team training ground, the academy and the stadium. It's been amazing so far.
"It's my dream to play at St James' Park - and I think it's everyone's dream to play there. My father and my agent convinced me that two Georgians played here. I haven't met him (Temur Ketsbaia) but I hope I will meet him soon. The club has a big history.
"I don't think I can play in just one position. I can play more. Just let me play and I will prove it. I don't like to think about me - I let other people talk about me."
"It's a big challenge for me and I have motivation to play outside of Georgia. It's a move that every professional has to make to follow their dreams."
"One year ago it was my dream to play for Dinamo Tiblisi. After my first goal, I was shocked for two days! But that was the motivation to score more goals. And when I heard Newcastle were interested in me, that (motivation) grew."
Asked for a final message to the fans, he said: "I think I have to work even more here. They can rely on me - I will work twice (as hard) here."
