Newcastle set for manic start to 2026
Just as the injuries and suspensions are coming think and fact at Newcastle United, so are the fixtures.
After last night's cup quarter-final win over Fulham, we end 2025 with a home game against Chelsea in Saturday's early kick-off, a trip to Man Utd on Boxing Day and Burnley away on Tuesday 30th December.
Then, between our home game with Crystal Palace on 4th January - our first game of 2026 - and our league game at Liverpool on 31st January, we play NINE games in just 28 days.
Five in the Premier League (Crystal Palace, Leeds, Wolves, Aston Villa and Liverpool), one in the FA Cup (Bournemouth), one Carabao Cup semi-final first leg (Man City) and two in the Champions League (PSV and PSG).
A month that could go a long way towards defining the success or failure of our 2025/26 season, a big incentive to sort out our consistently inconsistent form, get players back from injury and sign one or two in the January window.
