Bruno Guimaraes sends message to Lewis Miley after another injury setback
On Tuesday, it was reported that Lewis Miley had fractured his leg in training and would miss the rest of the season.
It has been a rough season for Miley in terms of injuries. The 19-year-old had only just returned to action after an extended period on the sidelines with a muscle problem he picked up in the draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
Miley has been a utility man for Eddie Howe this season, covering several positions other than his regular midfield role.
When he returned from his muscle injury, Miley was deployed at right-back and in the game against Brighton, he was later pushed up the pitch into a more familiar midfield position.
Not only has he deputised in different areas of the pitch, but he's also done so without missing a step, looking extremely comfortable no matter where he was deployed.
Lewis Miley will miss the rest of the season
Miley will miss the remaining three games of the season due to his latest injury, but is expected to be back for pre-season which is a huge boost.
Bruno Guimaraes reacted to the news on Instagram, posting a reel offering support to the teenager.
“Very sad for you my brother! Wish you a speedy recovery and you know that you can count on me. Love u my guy.”

Bruno is a true captain
This is exactly what a captain should do. A public display of support to go with what is undoubtedly plenty of support behind the scenes, too.
Bruno has not long returned from a 10-week absence, his longest since he signed for Newcastle, so he'll understand how Miley is feeling right now.
Fingers crossed that it's good news from the specialist today, and his layoff won't be too long or have any detrimental effect on his career in the future.
