Newcastle announce free Kevin Keegan tribute display at Baltic
Newcastle United have announced a free Kevin Keegan tribute display at the Baltic, featuring the shirts and messages left by supporters in his memory.
The club's official website confirms it will run on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead.
Wor Flags banner to go on display
The exhibition will feature Wor Flags' 17.5-metre centre-circle banner, created using more than 500 football shirts and handwritten tributes left outside St James' Park.
The banner formed part of August's tributes against Liverpool, when both clubs came together to remember King Kev before the opening league game of the season.
A photograph wall from that fixture and Newcastle's commemorative film will also be shown.
How to book free tickets
The display will be on Level 1, open from 10am to 6pm both days, with last entry at 5pm.
Admission is free, but tickets are required and can be booked through Baltic's ticket page.
For anyone who left a shirt or a message outside the ground, this should be a particularly poignant visit. A lovely way to remember King Kev.
