Tino Livramento's message to Newcastle fans amid exit rumours

Tino Livramento could be the next top Newcastle United player to exit St James' Park after Anthony Gordon.

Anthony Gordon completed his £70 million move to Barcelona on Friday as Newcastle get their summer off to a rapid start.

There had been plenty of talk about getting business done early, but we'd heard it all before. This time, it's actually happened as Newcastle have managed to get a good deal for a player who had one foot out of the door, avoiding any of last year's shenanigans.

Newcastle still has players whose futures are up in the air. None more so than Tino Livramento, who has been linked to both Manchester City and Arsenal throughout the season.

After picking up several injuries throughout the season, though, there's a feeling that their interest has died down, and Livramento could end up staying at St James' Park.

Tino is currently preparing to fly out to Florida with the England squad ahead of the World Cup next month, but he's taken the time to send a message on Instagram to the Newcastle fans, thanking them for their support this season throughout a difficult campaign.

Another year of Tino?

Tino doesn't give much away in his brief acknowledgement, but we're feeling a lot more confident about the full-back remaining at St James' Park next season than we did a couple of months ago.

It feels as though the 23-year-old may have to prove his fitness over a full season to convince a "bigger" club to part with the kind of money it would need for Newcastle to agree to a sale.

We may get another season out of the England star yet. However, if he impresses for England at the World Cup, that may change the landscape somewhat.
