Anis Hadj Moussa eyeing move to Premier League amid Newcastle interest

Newcastle United's search for wingers continues after missing out on Victor Munoz, with Feyenoord's Anis Hadj Moussa in their sights.

The Magpies are looking to strengthen their attack down both flanks this summer. Anthony Gordon's sale to Barcelona means that left wing is probably the highest priority, although we do have Harvey Barnes there.

On the right, we have Anthony Elanga, who has been outstanding at the World Cup and could be gearing up for a fantastic season for Newcastle after his initial disaster.

Jacob Murphy is still at the club, but there's still a chance he could be moved on before the new season.

Newcastle are in talks with Anis Hadj Moussa

Feyenoord's Anis Hadj Moussa plays down the right flank, but is left-footed and can play on the left if needed, which would make him appealing to Eddie Howe.

According to Sky Sports reporter Sacha Tavolieri, Newcastle have already opened talks with Anis Hadj Moussa and the Algerian is ready to reject offers from Saudi Arabia to get a move to the Premier League.

Aston Villa are also in for the 24-year-old who racked up 11 goals and six assists in 30 Eredivisie games last season.

Can Newcastle convince him to reject Aston Villa?

Sacha Tavolieri believes Feyenoord will demand €35m (£30m) for Anis Hadj Moussa, which puts him in the affordable bracket we'd say.

The problem will be convincing him to join Newcastle over Aston Villa, especially with the fact that Unai Emery's side can offer him Champions League football next season.

Also, having a Europa League trophy in their cabinet won't hurt their chances. We have the Carabao Cup, but what's he going to be more impressed with, honestly?

Even when we're going up against clubs who we'd say are on an even keel with Newcastle, there's always something.
