Newcastle United away kit launch date leaks before official reveal
Newcastle United are yet to officially reveal their away kit for the upcoming season, but the release date has already been made public.
We've seen plenty of leaks of the upcoming Adidas away kit, which will be blue with white accents.
The shirt will sport the late 70s/early 80s crest, albeit a white version, and the retro Adidas trefoil logo.
Early mockups of the kit suggested the shirt would have a brick motif as a reference to the brickwork around St James' Park, but recent leaks show the pattern to be that of castle turrets.
The new away kit will go on sale on Tuesday
At the time of writing, the club has not officially revealed the final design of the kit, and all the mockups have been without the KNOX Hydrate sponsor included.
However, the St James' Park club shop has already put up displays in the windows advertising the shirt going on sale on Tuesday, 21st July.
Peter Clennell on X posted the image of the displays being put up in the club shop windows.
Take my money
With the shop displays going up and the release date being on Tuesday, we expect that the reveal will come at some point today (Friday).
If the kit looks as good in reality as the mockups and leaks suggest, this will be the one for me this season. The home kit has grown on me, especially since the addition of the sponsor, but with the price of official shirts being what they are, I'm limiting myself to one, and the blue and white one is winning.
The third kit is expected to be pink and could look a lot like the away goalkeeper shirt from last season. If they get it right, it could look really good too, but we'll have to wait and see.
