Newcastle's Fanzone set for rebrand following lapse of Sela deal

There have been plenty of changes in and around Newcastle United over the summer in terms of sponsorship.

The Magpies struck a deal with South African drinks brand KNOX Hydrate to sponsor the training ground at Benton before last season ended.

As the summer went on, there were rumours about who would take over from Saudi Arabian events company, Sela, as front-of-shirt sponsor as the three-year partnership between the club and Sela came to an end. Fitness tracking company WHOOP! was heavily rumoured at one point, but that turned out to be false.

The new 2026/27 home shirts launched with no sponsor before KNOX was announced as the new front-of-shirt partner, adding to their deal for the training ground.

KNOX is in line to sponsor the Newcastle Fanzone

It seems as though KNOX may not be done yet either, according to The Chronicle.

As things stand, Sela's branding remains on the STACK fanzone next to St James' Park, but that's set to change before the start of the campaign.

Visit Malta has taken the opportunity to sponsor Newcastle's pre-season weekender, which was previously the Sela Weekend, and they could be in line to sponsor the fanzone, but The Chronicle thinks KNOX may take over the branding at the STACK too.

KNOX are making sure their name is out there before it even comes to the UK

KNOX Hydrate's drinks lineup isn't even available in the UK yet, so they are getting their name out there for when they come to market later this year.

If they end up sponsoring the STACK, then we expect that would be as good a place as any to get your hands on some when they come to the UK.

We wonder how much more money they are willing to throw at the club. St KNOX's Park, anyone?
