Some footballers seem utterly devoid of personality, but Newcastle United's Dan Burn is not someone who can be tarred with that brush.

The Blyth-born defender has become a huge hit with the fans at Newcastle, and it's not all because of his ability on the pitch.

Burn is often sent out to do media duties because he knows how to put himself across well in interviews.

In other behind-the-scenes videos, Burn is often prominently featured too because he's got a fantastic sense of humour and an affable personality.

Even on the training pitch, it seems that Burn knows how to keep the mood light, as evidenced by the latest clip of the big man in training with England.

In a video shared by Craig Hope on X, Burn is seen teeing up his former teammate Anthony Gordon for a simple tap-in.

Just a few days following his £70 million exit from Newcastle, Burn linked up with his ex-clubmate and shouted "That's so Barcelona" as the winger tapped home as the Three Lions began their World Cup preparations.

Gordon's exit seems to have been received quite well online

It may not have been the jovial message many were hoping to hear from a Newcastle player to Gordon after his defection, but we found it pretty amusing.

In fairness, Gordon's exit hasn't heralded the bitterness we expected it might have. By moving on quickly, sending a heartfelt message to the fans and moving to a team overseas, there's none of that resentment that clouded Alexander Isak's exit last year.

We can get over the fact that Gordon clearly wanted to leave because he went about it the right way for the most part. We still feel his performance levels were lacking this season, as if he had his mind elsewhere, but that literally could just have been us projecting.
