Newcastle announce final pre-season clash as Strasbourg complete summer schedule

Newcastle United recently announced that the Sela Weekender will now be known as the Visit Malta Weekend after the deal with Sela lapsed.

As has been the tradition, post-takeover, Newcastle will host a weekend event at St James' Park, which will see the Magpies play two games, one on Saturday and one on Sunday with the Women's team featuring too.

Newcastle recently announced that Bayer Leverkusen would provide the opposition on Saturday, 15th August, with the Sunday games still to be arranged.

We now know who Newcastle United and Newcastle United Women will face on Sunday, 16th August, as the Magpies' pre-season schedule has been fully released.

Racing Club de Strasbourg will play Newcastle 

In a statement from the club, Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace (Strasbourg to their mates) will provide the opposition for the men's side on Sunday at 3pm

Before that game, Newcastle Women will face Inter Women with a 1pm kick-off.
