Victor Munoz happy with Newcastle's offer and impressed by project - Report
Things appear to be moving along nicely with the potential Victor Munoz deal following reports that Newcastle United had placed an official bid.
Earlier today, Fabrizio Romano broke the news that Newcastle United had put in an official bid for Spain winger Victor Munoz.
While Osasuna are yet to accept the offer, it's now being reported that talks with Munoz are moving in the right direction in anticipation.
The bid is believed to be over €30m, which is still €10m short of his release clause, leaving some room for negotiation, although that clause does give Newcastle the opportunity to bypass all the negotiations if push came to shove.
Victor Munoz is happy with Newcastle's terms
Meanwhile, Lee Ryder has revealed talks between Newcastle and Victor Munoz are going well, with the winger happy with the terms on offer.
It was suspected beforehand that terms wouldn't be an issue, and Munoz was quite keen on the move, and Ryder's update certainly backs up those claims.
The Chronicle's chief writer also reports that the 22-year-old is 'impressed' by the project on offer, suggesting we just need to finalise an agreement with Osasuna as formal talks continue.
"Victor Munoz is understood to be happy with the salary on offer at #NUFC and impressed by the project.
"It's all about Osasuna and their price and the bid now.

Ryder claims no official proposal has been made
In an accompanying article in The Chronicle, Ryder claims that no official proposal has been tabled, and that the two clubs are locked in talks, but it is all moving along nicely.
Hopefully, Newcastle can get this all wrapped up quickly before any other clubs come in and try to tempt him away.
It's going to be worth watching Spain's World Cup opener on Monday to get a potential glimpse of the wide man, who has one goal in two caps for his country following an impressive season in La Liga.
