Wor Flags reveal plans for Kieran Trippier and Emil Krafth tribute

St James' Park will say goodbye to Kieran Trippier and Emil Krafth today when West Ham take on Newcastle United.

The two right-backs are due to leave the club at the end of the season when their contracts expire.

Nobody should need reminding of the legacy Kieran Trippier will leave behind when he departs in the summer, but Emil Krafth has been at Newcastle for seven years, and while his contributions haven't been as headline-grabbing, the Swede deserves some respect.

A Steve Bruce signing who survived the takeover and even became a key figure for a while under Eddie Howe, Emil Krafth will not be forgotten in a hurry.

Krafth and Trippier set for SJP send off 

Wor Flags will show the Swedish international some love after he was reduced to tears when interviewed about his summer exit.

The Wor Flags display ahead of the game against West Ham is largely geared up to show the love to Kieran Trippier, but Wor Flags have shown on X that they haven't forgotten about Krafu either.

It may just be one flag, which, compared to an entire East Stand display for Trippier, may not seem a great deal, but we're sure the fans will make sure he knows how much he's appreciated.

The lap of honour is going to be interesting

Full time is going to be very interesting to see the reactions of some of the players as they do their final lap of honour at St James' Park this season and potentially ever.

A few of the players to keep an eye on will be Anthony Gordon, Jacob Murphy, and Fabian Schar. The two wingers are being linked with a move away, while Schar is still holding out hope of a new contract.

We feel their reactions after the game will be very telling. It's also going to be interesting to see how Eddie Howe sets up his team and whether sentimentality will play a role in his selection.
