Bruno Guimaraes set for supporting role in Barcelona - Newcastle star spotted on Tuesday
Newcastle United take on Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday evening. It's a 5:45pm kick-off, live on TNT Sports.
In the first of two massive games this week, the Magpies travel to Spain to take on the mighty Barcelona in their own backyard after giving them plenty to think about at St James' Park.
Were it not for a stroke of bad luck, Newcastle would be defending a one-goal lead at the Nou Camp tomorrow, but as things stand, the two sides go into the game on level terms after last week's 1-1 draw on Tyneside.
Newcastle will gladly take any boost they can ahead of the game, and while Eddie Howe has a few big names back at his disposal, perhaps one of the biggest boosts is the return of Bruno Guimaraes.
The skipper has been in Brazil undergoing rehabilitation on his hamstring injury, but landed back in England yesterday, just in time to join his teammates on their trip to Barcelona.
Bruno spotted on flight to Barca
Bruno is nowhere near match fit yet, with the skipper eyeing a return to action in early April, but he's insisted on travelling with the team to support the lads from the sidelines on Wednesday.
The official Newcastle United X account posted images of the tracksuit-clad captain as they prepared to board the plane, also including a photo of him giving Joelinton a massive hug.

Joey and Bruno are practically inseparable, so it must have been tough for the pair to have been apart for so long while Bruno was in Brazil. Sometimes bromance is hard.

Bruno timed his return to Newcastle perfectly
The timing of Bruno's return is massive with Newcastle taking on Barcelona on Wednesday and then Sunderland on Sunday.
While he can't take part in the games, just his presence will be a huge boost as he's such a massive figure behind the scenes, with the former Lyon star a natural leader and inspirational character who will energise the group.
Kieran Trippier made a point of coming out to support the lads when he was injured shortly after joining the club, and that was seen as a fantastic move by the veteran defender, and it's great to see Bruno taking a leaf out of Trippier's book.
Hopefully Bruno's presence can give us a lift and he's back in action soon, with April's trip to Crystal Palace his current target.
