Newcastle set for lucrative Coca-Cola deal as £200m plan goes public

Newcastle United are turning a tough summer into a fruitful one, at least from a financial perspective.

After a £190 move to build a 'world-class' training base at Woolsington Hall was followed by today's £15m deal with training kit sponsor SumUp, there is more news to share.

This time, it relates to the club's STACK fan zone, which looks set for a lucrative reboot heading into the 2026/27 campaign.

Coca-Cola deal set to offer additional boost

Newcastle United look set to strike a deal with Coca-Cola, who are primed to sponsor the club's STACK fan zone.

Sela had previously held the naming rights at the popular fan zone, which brings in 'tens of millions' a year for Newcastle, but the Saudi events company ended their three-year partnership with the club this summer.

That's opened the door for David Hopkinson to strike a new deal, and The Telegraph report that Coca-Cola have been lined up to replace Sela in what promises to be another lucrative financial deal for Newcastle.

While no figures are mentioned, the piece states that the Coca-Cola deal will be another 'multi-million-pound contract.'

Hopkinson's £200m plan on track

Luke Edwards reports that Hopkinson's detailed plan to get Newcastle competing financially with our 'Big Six' rivals by 2030 is very much on track.

The influx of new sponsorship deals - KNOX, SumUp and soon-to-be Coca-Cola - has left the club 'ahead of their 2027 target'.

Ambitious plans to bring in an extra £200m-per-year before the end of the decade are considered realistic and achievable, with training ground partnerships alone raising an additional £11m-a-year recently.

The Telegraph also reveal that 'preliminary talks with another major international company' have taken place over a potential sponsorship deal at St James' Park, opening up the possibility of another big contract, without altering the stadium's name.

Big developments, significant improvements and more proof that PIF are fully committed to this long-term project, despite recent doubts.
